A nourishing aromatic start to the week…giant white beans from Rancho Gordo slow simmered with wild mushrooms (maitake, morels and shiitake) braised with onions, tomato and garam masala.

Tuesday, January 28th - Fried Chicken - $26

Heritage Chicken (three pieces) - brined & marinated in yogurt masala then fried in ghee in a crispy chickpea batter, accompanied by Pondi salad, dwaffle, herb dipping sauce & house pickles.

Taken from Anita’s recipe blog, india1948.com, this Rajasthani dish features leg of lamb, chilies and warming spices. Sop up the delicious sauce with our house garlic naan!

Friday, January 31st - Pickle Pizza

Seared potato, rich nihari brisket sauce finished with garam masala, house chutneys on homemade naan crust. Who knew?!

We have enjoyed the bounty of an incredibly long winter growing season. Last week’s storm did put a stop to the season but not before we were able to gather SO MUCH extra produce from local farmers before the snow and ice could damage these crops. Enjoy the local vegetables picked just in time!
